When is the difference between BCAA, EAA and Amino?
Typically, when you consume protein, it breaks into several Amino Acids which are then used by your body for various functions, especially building muscle tissues. There are 21 Amino Acids out of which 9 are considered Essential Amino Acids. Essential Amino Acids or EAAs are not produced in the body and therefore must be consumed from outside food. EAAs have various functions in the body but BCAAs or Branched Chain Amino Acids have a specific function, that is to prevent muscular catabolism during workouts and promoting muscle Tissue repair. BCAAs are 3 Amino Acids among the 9 Essential Amino Acids. An Amino Supplement can be a combination of any of the 21 Amino Acids.
Are there any Side Effects of using EAA, BCAA or any Amino Acids?
There are no known side effects of consuming any Amino Acids. Just stick to the serving size and recommended dosage per day.
Which Amino Acid Supplement is Best for me?
It will depend on your goals. If you wish to build Muscle Mass and are a beginner, you can go for BCAAs. These will give you a boost of energy in the gym and will help you recover faster. If you are looking to add lean muscle mass and are following a good, high protein diet then adding an EAA will not only help you in muscle growth but also other bodily functions like digestion, healthy hair and skin and many such metabolic activities.
What results to expect from using BCAAs?
BCAAs help in recovery and building of muscle tissues. If you feel tired after workouts throughout the day, then you should consider using a BCAA or an EAA supplement to help boost energy levels, muscle growth and reduce fatigue.
